Mainstream Marketing is extremely excited to inform everyone that our very talented graphic designer is one of 20 selected finalists chosen for Beecause - an exhibition and art auction in support of London's arts incubator, The Arts Project, and the Canadian Bee Research Fund, a Canadian research initiative focused on the disappearance of honeybees.

Over 79 artists participated from all across Canada, and over 140 pieces were received. The 20 selected art pieces will be exhibited at The Arts Project during September 14th - 26th, 2009 in London and an online auction will be held September 17th, 2009.

Artists were invited to present "honey-themed" pieces in this Call for Submission and our Siu was the only artist chosen from Windsor (way to represent Siu!!!)

No one was more pleased than Mainstream to find out that Art in the Park 2009 was as an overwhelming success this year. Not only did Art in the Park exceed its attendees by 5,000 but the addition of Into The Night (extended hours on Saturday night 2-9 PM for live music and wine!) also had an amazing turn out.

Volunteers around the park heard nothing but positive feedback regarding the promotion of Art in the Park - compliments ranged from the gorgeous larger than life billboards, to various lawn signs around the city, to the informative email marketing campaign.

On February 8, 2009, our whole team participated in the 10^th Annual Friends of A Life Worth Living Bowling FUNdraiser.

The day was packed with fun bowling activities, intended to raise awareness of the daily challenges posed to people living with visual impairments. Together we collected pledges and participated in exciting games and even won a prize in Bowling Bingo. Our office also donated the Grand Prize - Round Trip tickets for 2 for International & Domestic Destinations.

It was a great day! We believe A Life Worth Living's purpose of educating and sensitizing people throughout North America about living with disabilities by developing and disseminating communication resources.

Beginning in February 2009, we will be issuing an e- newsletter. This newsletter doesn't just include information regarding all the wonderful services that we can provide for you (of course there will be a little bit of that.what's wrong with a little self-promotion?), but the newsletter will also include useful and practical information for business owners such as Sales Tips, the Latest in Internet Technology, an interesting Did You Know section, as well as Customer Service Must-Do's!

Each e- newsletter will include sections written by field experts from Windsor on a variety of topics from fashion, to fitness, to basic mandatory maintenance for your vehicle. Need some tips for insurance, or want to know how and when the best time to sell your house is? We've got all that too!

Why do we do this? That's an easy answer. Because it's a good thing that benefits a FANTASTIC COMMUNITY CENTRE that teaches, protects and empowers our children on how to stay safe both within their community, in our neighborhoods and at home.

The entire concept of the Children's Safety Village is just amazing and we are very fortunate to have such a great centre in our own backyards! In tough economic times such as these we need to be sure we take care of those facilities that count on local community financial support through fundraising initiatives. If we don't take care of these types of facilities, we could lose them; let's not let this happen to our centre and our children!

With this in mind we felt that we could utilize our talents and skills to help the Children's Safety Village to promote their message by creating and producing a great educational and fun activity book.

This 2^nd annual Children's Safety Village Activity Book is 100% donated to the Children's Safety Village of Windsor and Essex County as the project is fully funded by our office and generous advertised supporters. This generous support guarantees that every child that passes through the Village will walk out with one of these safety books in hand.

An annual Holiday tradition for our team has been participating in the Holiday Assistance Program hosted by the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Foundation.

The Holiday Program assists approximately 800 families with about 1,600 children by pairing over 220 sponsors with those in need. This year, together we hope to make the holiday season a merry one for our sponsored family.

The number of families and sponsors continues to grow each year. In 2004, over $417,000 in gifts and $28,000 in cash donations supported this program.

Our entire staff enjoyed an AMAZING evening filled with great company, countless laughs and of course great food at NOI Restaurant (located on Erie St.) on Saturday November 29^th. The staff also invited husbands, finances and boyfriends to share in the celebration of a great year

The staff certainly didn't go to bed hungry that evening as exotic appetizers, crisp salads and delicious cheesy pastas filled their bellies. O.K., we also had some wine - but just a glass - we're professionals :)

Mainstream Marketing and Coral Medical Health Spa - presenting sponsors of the Tied to a Cause 1^st Annual Fun Walk presented The Windsor and Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation board President Margaret Williams with a cheque in the amount of $5100.00 to be used for assistance with education, research and equipment for the Cancer Centre today.

At the cheque presentation, our very own Matt Dunlop expressed the importance of cancer research and education and providing Windsor and Essex County cancer patients with the very best LOCAL care possible, as cancer diagnosis is becoming more and more frequent.

Last week, our staff at received the exciting news that our very own exceptionally artistic and delightful graphic designer Siu Ling Le will be tying the knot!!!

The bride to be is tight lipped on revealing any details regarding the upcoming nuptials - although we are all quite certain it will be a unique and exquisitely executed celebration like all the creative projects that land on Siu's desk.

The 1^st Annual Tied to a Cause Event was a great success! Our goal for the 1^st Annual was to raise $5,000 dollars for the Windsor & Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation to be used for care and treatment of cancer patients in Windsor and Essex County and aid in the purchase of clinic equipment and local cancer research.

Our team along with the team at Coral Medical Health Spa are extremely pleased to announce that we met and exceeded our goal by raising $5200! And the best part of achieving this goal is that all $5200 will remain LOCALLY within the Windsor and Essex County community.
